From 11 to 14 years old

This Phase introduces further nutrition science concepts, including more detailed information on aspects of diet and health. In addition, food technology and cooking techniques are reviewed building an awareness of how these may affect the nutritional composition of food. Lastly, supplementation is highlighted.

The aim is to provide young people with the knowledge and skills to make informed healthy choices.
