Commnet

FAQ CommNet Education services

How much do CommNet Education services cost?
All our services are provided free of charge. The CommNet network is funded by the European Commission as part of the KBBE Programme.
How can a KBBE project be involved in CommNet Education?
KBBE projects can deliver a webinar for teachers, highlighting different aspects of their project. It is a useful way to communicate to a different audience. Support will be provided when planning and holding the online event. The webinars are recorded, so the presentation can be used in the future.

We are looking to develop case studies to provide to schools around your work. Text, photographs, animation and video from your project to illustrate the research would be welcomed. We will work with you to help write the case study for schools.
Who is CommNet Education aimed at?
CommNet Education is aimed at two audiences:
  1. Teachers, children and young people – providing them with resources and support to enhance their understanding of food, fisheries, agriculture and biotechnology.
  2. KBBE projects – helping to provide a platform to communicate your work to schools in a meaningful and appropriate way.
Why register as a “Member”?(KBBE projects)
As a Member you will be the main point of contact between CommNet and your research project. The membership will give you full access to our services. Registration does not bring any obligations from your side and you are free to unsubscribe whenever you want.
