This Phase introduces young children to the concept of food production and processing, looking at the world around them. The resources focus on agriculture practices, showing how food is grown, reared and caught. It hopes to ensure that they understand where their food comes from.
The resources also introduce the concept that foods/ingredients change, linking to aspects of the role of biotechnology in food production. Over the duration of the project additional resources will added to illustrate these concepts based on EU funded research.
